Service of Funeral Director and Staff.......................................... 795.00 (This charge is non-declinable and will be added to the total funeral charges that you select) Our basic service charge includes, but is not limited to, receiving of first call from place or death; arrangement conference with family or person responsible for making arrangements; preparation and filing of all permits and death certificates; preparing obituary for newspapers (there is now a minimal charge for obituaries), etc.; coordination of funeral service with all parties involved, including officiating minister (if needed), cemetery personnel, vault company, etc.; filing of insurance forms and other necessary paperwork to assist family before and after the funeral. EMBALMING (if embalmed) .................................................... 450.00
Embalming is not required by law. However, it is highly recommended for all viewing and visitation purposes due to certain health hazards which may be present after death. If you do not choose embalming, you may elect to arrange another form of disposition of the deceased, such as cremation or immediate burial. This charge also includes dressing, casketing, and application of cosmetics to the deceased.
