Timothy ‘Tim” Lamar Ward, the youngest son of Mattie Huguley Ward Trammell and
the late Cecil Jerome Ward. He was born on March 18,1970 in Langdale, AL and was
called home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2025 at Wellstar Paulding Medical Center,
Hiram, GA.
Tim accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and in 2008 was ordained
as a Deacon at Oasis Family Life Church in Dallas, GA where he served faithfully and
endlessly as an Armor Bearer and Church Security Officer.
He received his elementary and middle school education in West Point, GA and Atlanta,
GA. In 1986, he and his mom relocated to Inglewood, CA where he attended and
graduated from Morningside High School. After graduating from high school, he
attended Construction State License School, Inglewood, CA and Spartan College of
Aeronautics in Tulsa, OK.
He was united in marriage to Denne’ Allen on February 14, 1999 in Las Vegas, NV and
to this union one child was born, Timothy Lamar Ward, II in Beverly Hills, CA. The family
resided in Las Vegas until in 2001, he moved his family to Georgia to build a new life in
his home state. Though the marriage ended, Tim and Denne’ still remained friends. To
further his education and training, in 2018, he attended the 160 Driving Academy of
Marietta where he received his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and pursued a
career as a truck driver, driving locally and across country for many years. He was proceeded in death by his
father the late Cecil Jerome Ward; grandparents, thelate Alzater and Henry Huguley and the late Rosie Ward
Barnes and Kenneth C. Ward,
Sr. (Christine); two uncles Aurthur (Wheat) Huguley and Kenneth C. Ward, Jr.
Tim will be greatly missed and leaves innumerable memories that will forever be
cherished by his devoted son, Timothy “TJ” Ward, II (Kayla), Traverse City, MI; a
beautiful granddaughter, Emryn Jade Ward, Traverse City, MI; his loving mother, Mattie
Huguley Ward Trammell, West Point, GA; two brothers Kenneth B. Ward (LaSheika),
Lanett, AL, and Kyle Brooks, West Point, GA; One nephew, Kenneth JeKari Ward,
Lanett , AL; a devoted and loving fiancée, Tanya Nathaniel, Douglasville, GA; bonus
children Shaquana and Glenn Nathaniel, Khalil and Tyrique Hogan, a special bonus son
Malachi Hogan whom he raised; Barbara Nathaniel who he considered his mother-inlaw,
Brooklyn, NY; a dear and loving friend, Denne’ Allen Ward; five aunts,
Anne H. Brown, Atlanta, GA, Mary Frances Huguley,West Point, GA, Novelette Ward
Seroyer (Jesse), Opelika, AL; Detrich Ward, Opelika,AL and Irma Ward Townsend
(Alfred), Enterprise, AL; two uncles, James H. Huguley (Beverly), West Point, GA. and
Maurice Ward, Fairfax, AL; two foster brothers Hudie and Eric Hawkins, Inglewood, CA
and a host of loving cousins, relatives and friends.
Tim was a fun loving father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend with a
love for grilling and laughter. He will truly be missed.
