Willie George Palmore

The Memorial Service for Mr. Willie George Palmore will be Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 12:00 P. M. EST. at Mountain Springs Baptist Church, 4789 Lee Road 158, Salem, AL 36874. Repast will follow in the fellowship hall. Pastor George Rampey will be officiating. Mr. Willie George Palmore of Cusseta, AL was born to the late Allen and Prince Ella Palmore on June 28, 1952. He accepter\d Christ and joined the Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Salem, AL. Willie George attended Rehoboth High School. He was employed with West Point Stevens Manufacturing Company. He was also an entrepreneur in the Pulpwood and Logging Business. He was a loving son, brother, and neighbor. He loved his family and his neighbors. He loved to grow vegetables in his garden, and even more so, he loved to share with his neighbors. He was Preceded in death by his parents Allen Palmore and Prince Ella Palmore, and siblings Alice Mae Palmore, Allen Palmore, Mary Emma Palmore, Carolyn Palmore, Melvin Palmore, and Rosie Lee Pollard. He leaves to cherish his memories one son Curtavious Currington, two grandchildren three sisters, Ardine Childs, Auburn, AL, Clareana Thomas, Salem, AL, Martha Madden(James), LaGrange, GA, one brother Dover Palmore, Opelika, AL, and one brother-in-law, George Palmore, Lafayette, AL, a special cousin, Willie Butler, Atlanta, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
